At SSWL, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact through CSR initiatives that focus on migrant children education, government school infrastructure, village health facilities, and sustainable livelihoods.
This initiative brings learning to the doorstep of children who are unable to attend school—especially from migrant families. Currently, four learning centers operate in Punjab, reaching 893 children, out of which 258 have now been enrolled in formal schools.
Since 2018, we’ve been transforming government school campuses into safer, more engaging spaces for learning. With improved facilities in 7 schools so far, more than 2000 students are benefiting from a better educational environment.
In rural Punjab, we’ve introduced smart Anganwadi centers in five villages, equipping them with modern kitchens, activity rooms, hygiene facilities, and healthcare spaces to support early childhood development.
This effort offers financial assistance to students from vulnerable communities. Over 500 underprivileged, orphaned, and specially-abled children have received support to continue their basic and higher education.
“Disha” is a community-focused campaign that promotes menstrual health and hygiene awareness. With a mix of training sessions, counseling, and street plays, the program has empowered over 3100 adolescent girls across Punjab.
This pilot campaign, launched in Almora (Uttarakhand), provides accessible healthcare services at the village level. Services include free medical check-ups, medicine distribution, and health education for local families.
We encourage financial independence through campaigns that promote self-employment and agricultural livelihood. This includes skill-building support and practical help for starting small businesses in rural areas.
To help families during medical crises, this support campaign provides financial assistance for urgent surgeries like cardiac, orthopedic, and spinal procedures for those who cannot afford them.
