We accelerated our position on renewable energy, emphasizing circular economy, water recycling, energy efficiency, plantation, employee satisfaction and retention, inclusion and diversity, innovation, customer satisfaction, and a wide range of sustainability parameters which together contribute to our vision to be a world-class sustainable wheel manufacturing company.

I also thank the entire SSWL team, who worked effectively, registering an annual growth of 14%, resonating with the soundness of our business model. Sustainable product development plays an essential role in our business strategy. We work closely with OEMs to create products that are safe, low in carbon intensity, climate-friendly, and aligned with circular economy principles, while also meeting performance specifications and complying with government rules and regulations. Our major performance targets include energy efficiency, GHG emissions reduction, renewable energy adoption, and recycling.

This is identified as an important and growing area for SSWL, keeping in mind its position as Asia’s No.1 and World’s No. 2 Steel Wheels manufacturing firm. As we progress, it is crucial that we remain agile and responsive by duly assessing our potential risks and opportunities. SSWL maintains a holistic understanding of the local, national, regional, and global external environment, thus enabling us to take measures to ensure that our business persists in being adaptable and sustainable.
